Integrating the
Male and Female Energies
Everybody is a reflection of you. The universe is a
reflection of you. This includes supposedly opposites such as good and bad,
conscious and unconscious and personality and male and female. It is important to understand these
opposites in our personality and merge them, or we will be at continual war
with ourselves and everyone else.
The male-female balance is reflected
in us and on our planet. Now, in this time, the feminine energy is rising
within all of us but the planet does not know, from it's masculine point of
view, how to integrate that feminine energy. So that's why we are seeing a lot
of different struggles in the family system, in cultures all over the planet,
that are trying to break out of their old societal patterns.
The energies of the male and the
female are old energies and a lot is going on with them right now.
The Nature of the
Male and the Female
The male energy is the aspect
that is outwardly focused. It is that part of God or Spirit that drives outward
manifestation; that makes Spirit materialize and take form. The male energy
therefore knows a strong creative force. It is natural to the male energy to be
highly focused and goal-oriented. In this manner the male energy creates
individuality. The male energy allows you to separate yourself from the One and
be a specific individual.
The female energy is the
energy of Home. It is the energy of the Primal Source, the flowing
Light, pure Being. It is the energy that has not yet manifested, the inner aspect
of things. The female energy is all encompassing and oceanic; it does not
differentiate or individualize.
These energies appear opposite but
they are not really opposed or dualistic; they are two faces of one
energy. Below are examples of aspects
of male and female energy.

The masculine and the feminine
depend on one another. When they battle each other, the consequences are
disastrous. But times are changing. The female energy is regaining its strength
and rising above the role of victim. This resurrection comes from deep within
the feminine energy. She has finally reached the outer limit of her self-denial
and has stated: this is as far as it goes.
This is how it always goes in the
dynamic between victim and perpetrator. Change starts when the victim refuses
to accept any more and finally takes back her power. In all situations of
repression, for example of women in their family or in society, the real moment
of change is when the woman - or the feminine energy within a person - decides
for herself: I will not take this any longer. This is when change truly starts
to happen. External measures are useless until this moment presents itself.
Now, imagine the energy of the
female becoming aware of a desire for reaching outside of her boundaries to
attain experience, something of a new adventure! And then an energy comes to
her that answers that longing. It is the male energy that wants to be of
service and help her manifest in matter, in form. The male energy defines and
shapes the female energy and by their cooperation the total sum of energies can
take a completely new direction. A new reality can be created in which
everything can be explored and experienced, in ever changing forms of
manifestation.
It is only in
reunion with a matured and balanced male energy that the female energy can
flourish again.
Despite the inequality of the sexes
that is still present in society, the rise of the female energy is unstoppable.
On a collective level, the female energy is now in a position of waiting. At
present there is a struggle going on within the collective male energy
between the old and the new. A new wave of energy within the collective male
energy honors and respects the female energy. This new wave of male energy
wants to join with the female and together enter the New Age.
An older wave of
male energy is still active and resisting relinquishing control
This energy is clearly working in
the series of terrorist attacks that has taken place all over the world.
One of the problems we are now
facing, while growing towards a more balanced cooperation between male and
female, is how to deal with this kind of ruthless energy. Its downfall is a
fact. The struggle has been lost by the old male energy, but it will resist to
the very last with aggression and merciless attempts at domination. Will we
allow anger and powerlessness into our own energy field as a reaction to acts
of violence? Then we open up to the energy field of the aggressors.
Stay conscious! Let’s not be taken
by emotions of powerlessness. Know that no one will be touched by this
aggressive energy if they do not allow it into their energy field. If we do not
react with anger or hatred, we will not draw it to us. We will be safe and
protected by our own thoughts and energy.
Heal the male
energy within!
The feminine energy is in many ways
recovering and acquiring the strength needed to express itself- fully and
beautifully. The female qualities of intuition, sensitivity and connectedness
are being appreciated more and more, individually as well as collectively. It
is vital to recognize and express the new male energy. The female side now
needs this balanced male energy to be able to truly fulfill her role.
In the final realization of who we
are, the only truth that matters is: I AM. And in this mystical mantra,
precisely those two aspects merge. In the I is the male energy, in the AM
is the female energy. The I is constricting, differentiating. It gives
focus, direction, individuates. AM
is oceanic, all encompassing. It reflects the female energy, the inexhaustible
source that knows no bounds, no differentiation. The flowing and joining aspect
is the core of the female energy. In the I AM, the male and female come together
and blissfully join their energies.
It is important to make peace with
the male energy, to embrace our individuality, our uniqueness, our “I-ness.”
There is an essential “aloneness” in life which has nothing to do with
loneliness, but which has everything to do with we being an “I,” a unique
individual. To embrace this aloneness does not stand in the way of experiencing
deep connections to others. If we truly embrace our individuality, we become
empowered, independent and creative individuals able to share our energy deeply
with anyone or anything, because we are not afraid to lose ourselves in it or
give up our individuality.
We should not hesitate to stand up
for ourselves, to receive abundance and to take good care of ourselves. We need
not be forgiving and understanding all the time. It is not spiritual to
tolerate everything and anything. Clearly there are moments at which we have to
say “no” or even “farewell” and not compromise who we are. Do this without
guilt or fear and feel how the male energies of self-consciousness and
self-confidence empower us to let our female energy flourish and shine.
It is all about the cooperation
between the energies. Male and female energies have gone down together in a
long and painful struggle. They will also rise together, for one cannot be
balanced without the other. Now that the female energy is ready to rise from
the ashes of humiliation and repression, there is an urgent need for a rebirth
of the male energy. This rebirth of the male will become visible on a collective
scale eventually, but it will first manifest in each of us separately, man and
woman. We all are the keepers of these ancient energies within us, and it is
our birthright to make their partnership equal and joyful.
Balancing Energies Results in Less Hostility, More Nurturing
We’re going to see a decrease in hostility and an increase in
nurturing. We're going to see the barriers we have between each other, begin to
disintegrate. This means between two people, between countries and between
religions. We are going to see fewer Earth changes. We are going to see healing
- like air becoming cleaner, the ozone layer rebuilding and droughts ending.
We're going to see a balance in the ecosystem.
Teachings like those of the Native Americans, who respect the land, are
going to be more in abundance. We're going to see a consciousness shift from
one of living on the Earth to one of living with the Earth. We will see
ourselves as extensions of the Earth as the male and female energy is
integrated on the planet. Each of us as individuals is going to see more peace
in our relationships. We will be working together more instead of being in
conflict. That will be the most significant change.
We Will Be Able to Express Our True Selves
In terms of our own personal growth, we're going to see less
stress in our daily lives. We're going to find that we're going to be able to
be more fully who we really are and not withhold ourselves. For instance, many
of us have difficulty confronting someone who maybe was rude to us at work or
something. We have difficulty now expressing our feelings that it was a hurtful
thing. We're going to find that we're going to be more comfortable expressing
our true selves and not worrying that we're going to hurt the other person, as
long as we express it with integrity. Part of the reason we feel so much stress
inside now is because we withhold who we really are. If we make peace with
ourselves, then we can naturally express ourselves without concern, with
empowerment and with love. That natural expression will create so much less
stress in our lives.
Our societal systems are going to begin to change.
There's going to be less stress in our religious systems and
in our government. We're going to be much more willing to work with each other.
We're going to have more tolerance, more compassion and more genuine love,
because we will begin to see every other person as a direct reflection of
ourselves.
Balanced
Relationships at Home and in the Workplace
We
have drawn certain individuals and situations into our lives. We have attracted
others to allow ourselves the opportunity to grow and to give us more
information about who we are. The idea is not to become like each other. The
idea is to allow each individual to be the strongest, healthiest, most balanced
individual they can possibly be. We each become stronger reflections for each
other of all that is possible for each of us. The purpose of any relationship
is to allow us to be more of who we choose to be. It is like looking into a
mirror and seeing another aspect of ourselves. This does not mean our
relationships will be an exact 1-1 reflection of who we each are. Rather, our
relationships become a reflection of what the two of us have agreed to learn
and teach each other.
In
the work place, the best possible relationship is a balanced sharing, without
dependency. Each employee has strong, natural attributes that can assist the
other in their growth. If we can create a space for our colleague to grow in
their own self-support, then the business will be a happy and flourishing
one. In a related scenario, consider
giving money to charity to feed the hungry, as compared to donating to a
charity where skills are taught to the poor, so that they can learn to feed themselves.
The lasting benefit is to teach someone how to be self-sufficient. If we are in a relationship where we are
giving, giving, giving, it sends out the message to others that we do not
believe they have the ability to match their own vibrations of completeness and
sufficiency.
Offer
support to others as long as it does not represent the idea we are taking on
responsibility for them. We cannot really be responsible for other adults.
There
is no reason to attempt to be anything that we are not. Doing that only brings
us more of what we are not. We will only become more uncomfortable, unhappy,
unhealthy, and unsuccessful, if we keep trying to be something we are not.
It is vital to express who we are, be who we are, and say what we think. We
should only change our lives because we choose to, and because we are becoming
more completely the real us. If we know we are functioning in true personal
integrity, even if others around us don't like it or want us to change, we
continue to be who we are. If we are doing what we enjoy and love in life,
it very quickly provides us confirmation of who we really are. The idea is
always to relax, have fun and be ourselves. Remember, anyone we attract into
our lives by being ourselves belongs in our lives. Being of service to ourselves
and others is only possible when we are complete within our own selves. If
we are not fully ourselves, then the other person is not really in a relationship
with the real us anyway!
